The precourse info and especially the online preparation course was really useful. I am glad I invested that time before I left home! I enjoyed working with the staff and found the trainers easy to talk to. Thanks for a great experience!

I enjoyed the program. There was good scheduling and materials and the trainers were helpful. The pace was intensive and more in-class study time would have been good for me, but overall I learned a lot.

This is a very good program. It has been the most challenging time of my life but I have learnt loads and found out that I can teach and that I enjoy it! All the trainers and staff have been helpful, friendly and approachable. Thank you!

It has been hard work, but definitely enjoyable. The trainers were excellent. The e-mail support in advance of the course was excellent and the content of the course even better than I expected.

This was a great opportunity to learn lots of teaching skills and it really helped me become a more effective teacher of English. Although the schedule was very intense and tiring, I am really happy that I have done this course!

I have a request I hope you can fill; I have returned to Guam and am returning to university on Monday 3 September. The academic dean has agreed to give us credit transfer for what we learned at the Boland School. Thank you for this. I was also queried in depth on my experiences at and my opinion of the Boland School. I lauded the Boland School to the stars and highly recommended it to the administration and I will continue to recommend it to my fellow students here on Guam. I'm also happy to say that my teaching experience at Lambton College earned me a few more credits towards my degree in addition to being a wonderful experience in and of itself.
Lambton College asked me to renew my contract for this school year but I told them that I wanted to complete my MA first. I did agree to apply to them for the 2009/2010 school year; they seemed quite happy with that idea and strongly suggested I do just that.
In closing please give my regards to Sinead. She's a brilliant teacher; I really learned a lot from her and really enjoyed myself in the process.

Got my certificate today. I'm all smiles today. Got a special home-cooked meal from my wife for the excellent grade. I was aiming for an 'A' but a week into the course I realised how difficult it was just to get a pass. I'm more than satisfied with the B+ earned, mindful of a plethora of huddles I had to sail through. This, ranging from the course pressure to emotional turmoil from my wife's state of health. This confirms the adage that nothing good comes easy. It has all ended in smiles, thanks to the efficiency of the Boland School administration and the show of professionalism by the teaching staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the school to friends.

This is a truly professional organization and it shows. Also, it achieves this professionalism while avoiding the "This is a business first, educational institution second" mentality. Keep it up!

Let me thank you for a wonderful experience in Brno recently. It was everything I was looking for and with the help of your trainers, I was able to gain some valuable experience in grammar and teaching skills. Visit Kolobrzeg's website at www.kolobrzeg.pl to see where I am now. Best wishes to all.

Even though I cam to the course as an experienced teacher, I felt that I learned how to iron out the creases with my own teaching. Materials -useful, organization -smooth and easy. Thanks for everything.

I can't believe it............the very first lesson I had to present
revolved around "Modal Verbs" and "Conditionals".............then the next
day "the infinitive versus -ing".
The Boland course was my saviour so please pass this on to Oliver, Andy and Chris who I'm
sure will be pleased to hear that. I'm so pleased that all these matters
were part of the course............and that you not only taught them but
revised them several times.
Not only that the introduction to and presentation of roles plays that we
did at Boland has been invaluable in the Salon classes.........especially
the Intermediate and Advanced Business classes.
You are right, the Chinese do love their Grammar.
We worked Monday thru Wednesday and have relaxed the last couple of days.
Then commence again Saturday for a five day shift. So early night tonight.
PS......we attended a Chinese lesson today at work...........on our day
off...........Huang Fang would be proud of us and what we displayed from the
TEFL China Course. Thanks again!

Thanks for a great learning experience! I particularly thought that the work we did on teaching phonetics and how to make student errors a real learning experience especially valuable!

The TEFL was the main thing. I decided not to put too much effort into my Chinese elective, but it was good to have some exposure to Mandarin. Great intro-I'm starting to teach tomorrow so my studies are now beginning in earnest.

I am completely content/satisfied with the course. It would be nice if there were more sets of correction cards, they were hard to get ahold of for check-out of the reference library before finals. The trainers and staff obviously worked extremely hard to give trainees the best education possible, and were helpful in other aspects of everyday life, too. Thanks for everything!

You asking for my number to call in the UK was clincher as I didn't know how to get started in China! The course was challenging and good fun. I wish we had more time for some of the material, but that's always the case! Excellent staff and communication:-)

Happy New Year! Thanks for the jobs site password! I think I will be starting the New Year right because I got job offers. Thanks a lot for assisting me and so on. Tonight I am going to Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province near Beijing to see if the job they are offering me there is any good. Today, I had another job interview held here in Shanghai with a language center in Shandong Province. The school is nice, and it is in the coastal area. I will keep the jobs site password for future reference. I will keep in touch to let you know where I am working. I am really glad that I started my new career with The Boland. Thanks and hope to see you again!
Sincerely,

I have adjusted relatively well to the living arrangements here at the University in Wuxi. With everybody away for Spring Festival though I'm left feeling a bit uncertain about various things. I'm looking forward to the semester starting and seeing how it all pans out in the end. I enjoyed my time at Boland and learned quite a lot while I was there. I'm certain I'll put it to good use in the future!

Thanks a lot for putting so much effort into the course. I really feel like I got a lot out of it. I'm in Chengdu, of course. Things are going pretty well here. My apartment is a bit of a mess, but it's spacious, has hot water and is warm enough so I'm happy. I just try not to touch things because they tend to break. I can't really get a read on the school because only about 3 of the several thousand people who are here during the term are here now, but it looks fine from the outside. I believe it even has a pool.
So far, Chengdu seems like a great place to be. People here are quite friendly and there's a sizeable minority population in town - mostly Tibetans, so far as I can tell. The food is really vegetarian-friendly, too. I make fast friends with restaurant owners once they see that I like the spicy Sichuanese stuff. Hope things are going well with the next batch of TEFLers and that you had a bit of quality down time in between.
If you're ever heading out this way, be sure to let me know and if anyone at Boland is thinking about Sichuan, feel free to have them get in touch.

School wise, everything seems to fine at the moment, so all is dandy there.
Thanks for the concern. Finally, thank you for all the help and teaching at the Boland school, as it will indubitably be of great service.
