I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff have been quite friendly and helpful. We are able to cover a broad range of topics in a relatively sort time. I found the trainers absolutely brilliant. Each had his own style, and they complemented each other well. I appreciated their wit and thorough analysis of grammar topics. I felt the organization could have been slightly improved by giving out the schedules further in advance so we had more time to prepare for the following weeks' activities.

I think the course has been excellent, the staff and trainers friendly, helpful and supportive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. But there's obviously a limit to how much you can cover in an intensive course. Still, I am sure that I leave the course a better prepared teacher than when I arrived. The practice teaching is definitely a useful part of the course and the trainers are helpful and supportive there. If possible, it could be a good idea to let TEFLers observe an even wider range of classes, like one-on-ones, etc. I'm not sure how useful the Czech course has been for me personally, as I don't intend to work in the Czech Rep at present-but it's useful for students who do. But it's at least interesting to find out about Czech culture. I am sure that the course on the whole will prove very useful to me. It was interesting and fun to do. A worthwhile experience.

There was a great amount of ground covered considering the little time to
do it in. Sometimes it calls for stress, but it is an intensive course.

The course was enjoyable, and I loved the internship! The school is in a good
location in the sense of experiencing the real China, and the people are
warm and friendly.

The course was organized very well. It was surprising how the
school fit so much in such a short amount of time. It was fun.

The course was very good. The TEFL trainers were excellent. Although the

I had some problems with my grammar at the beginning of the course because
it was a bit overwhelming. But when it was finished I felt confident to
teach any of it.

I found the course extremely useful. It was intended to provide me with a
knowledge and confidence of TEFL and it has done that-and more! I would
recommend the course as a must to anyone without teaching experience before
entering the Asian teaching market.

The Boland School was fantastic! After exploring other training centers,
I knew Boland was the most qualified, but until I went through the program,
I had no idea how much thought, planning and preparation went into the Boland
School's curriculum to make it the best teaching and training center available.
The program was rigorous! I liked that. It wasn't easy, but if it was easy,
everyone could do it. The school provides their students with everything
necessary to teach English anywhere in the world and at any academic level.
When I left the Boland School, I didn't just leave with teaching skills.
I left with a feeling of confidence.
I was extremely impressed with the helpfulness and "family like" feeling all
the staff members provided. They took a personal, one-on-one approach and
were always there to help whenever I needed them.
After sitting in on many English classes and teaching them myself, I felt
an incredible sense of accomplishment! I loved working with the students.
Their energy, attentiveness, sincerity and willingness to learn made my job
so much easier and fulfilling. It gave me a true feeling of purpose.
I was incredibly impressed with Feng Xian. The prices and cost of living
are so low. The people are some of the kindest I've ever met and the variety
of authentic Chinese cuisines are surpassed by none. Smaller cities like
Feng Xian gave me an unforgettable insight to the real culture and lifestyle
of Chinese people. I am so glad I brought my camera. The memories will last
a lifetime. If you have a choice between packing your camera and packing
extra clothes....leave the clothes behind.

It was cool, but it was full-on. The practical teaching and class planning
experience were awesome! Wish I'd been warned about the grammar, I would
have prepared more.

Thank-you for your support, and especially sending those TEFL job updates
over the past several months. You'll be glad to hear that one lead from
a while back has turned into a new job for me,
I am teaching at the "Culturlingua Centro de Idiomas" school in Zamora,
Mexico, and getting to the half-way point of my first semester teaching
here, I am really enjoying it.
My teacher-coordinator here is very pleased with my teaching stategies,
most all of which I learned at Boland. So thank-you for the excellent TEFL
prep, and I'll keep you posted on where teaching takes me next.

I was very impressed with the small classes and knowledge of the teacher
trainers. At first, the grammar was overwhelming, but everything was taken
apart and put in a way which I could understand. The grammar package was
very well organized, and explains things simply-I know I'll keep it with
me on my travels! I found the activities suggested for grammar points very
helpful. Practice teaching in front of our peers and the trainers allowed
us to get feedback and suggestions about our lesson before we actually had
to go teach them with real students. The staff were very kind, and eager
to help out with anything.
